need turbo/supercharge

I recently purchased an 89 bird with 2.8 6cyl and clearly i need more power and was wondering if anyone knows of a good turbo kit or supercharger available for it... any suggestions for quick power gains would be appreciated as well...

Trade it in for a V8 model. The money it will require to get you even close to V8 performance with a 2.8 will be grands more than the cost to upgrade to a V8 but if you find a better way please share cause other 2.8 owners have been searching for years. Good Luck.

ive seen the 2.8 fieros supercharged before and was wondering how much different the engines were and if with slight alteration could the blower be put on

to make even 245 HP you would have to run close to 25-30 PSI, and that engine would not even take 10 PSI with out going through the whole block and what not. a v-8 swap would be the best option.

You know it's bad when a turbo guy tells you to go for the v-8 :icon16:
