This is the Revell 1/24 kit.
I plan on doing this car (a street version) in black with no stripes, I will use the stock rims but they will be black with chrome knock offs.
so far I started on the interior going for an (aluminum and black look), I detailed the dash a bit. and started on the seats and stuff. the belts are made from vinyl tape with photoetched hardware. and I used BMF on the shifter trim ring
BTW the decals in this kit are awesome, printed by Cartograf, although I wont use them on this car.

Hey thanks guys!
Yeah this is the current kit, I think its a re-issue of an older kit, cause there is a lot of mold lines and stuff to clean up lol.
and yeah those gauge decals come in the kit!, its a cartograf decal sheet!!

Wow!! A Cobra kit.
First. Your interior is amazing!!
And, i hope this kit get to Brasil. Is hard to find one, i've only seen one kit, and was a cobra but with large wheels and a engine...completely out of scale...more a toy car!!
Well. Keep us Update!

Thanks, the silver, is just plain silver, motomaster brand, which here in Canada is just dupli-color under another name. (get it at canadian tire)
and yup the windshield comes with it, with all the glass, I will be using it on this car.

small update tonight, I didnt have much time to work on things today, but I got the shifter, pedals, and hand brake on. and gave all the chrome a wash with tamiya smoke. I just have the steering wheel left, but I need to make a trip and get some brown paint to make the wood look.
I noticed that they only include the gas and brake pedals no clutch?!! no biggie though as you dont see them anyway , but still lol.
and for those that dont know what those handles sticking out of the shifter are for, you pull that up to shift into reverse.

I finished the exact same kit just now, it needs some care (like those dreadful muffler, ew) from what I'm seeing so far you've given it all the care it needed and looks incredible. Another Cobra is not too much in here I'm very anxious to see this finished. :bigthumb:

im not sure why yours didnt dry?? i painted that at about 11 this morning, its now 1:30am, and it completly dry, just as dry as the paint on the body. i pressed on it and it left no finger print or anything.
maybe you put on to heavy a coat? i put on 3 mist coats, each was dry before i put on the next one.

Well glad yours worked out, I did spray 2 light coats, even though it does spray kida heavy out the can. I could rub my finger on it lightly, after 5 days, and still get paint on my finger. I figured it was just that it is an Enamel paint. Maybe I just got a bad/old can.
I'll have to get another can and give it a second chance cause thoose pipes look great.
