Hi . I have a bit of a problem, I own a 89 honda civic dx, with a 1.5 litre engine in it, The problem is i have a 86 honda prelude with a 2 litre, and i want to swap that 2 litre into my civic. do you know if i can interchange the belhousings from the 2 litre tranny, to the transmission on the civic. Also if do you know a website or any info on the wiring harneses for both the engine it would be helpfull. oh by the way the 1.5 is TBI and the 2litre is MPFI. Please e-mail me at [email protected] with any info you may have THXS. And not least sweet ride man, i love the hydros you have on it.

Nope. Simply put. Period.
WONT WORK! This question is asked too often...
That motor wont fit into a civic of any year. There are no mounts made for that swap, nor linkages or harness conversions. But, if you wanted to do it yourself as a custom project...i'm sure you could but with alot of money...
in the end it would be cheaper to just swap in a ITR motor.
Besides...those early prelude motors are not all that reliable and are not very swap compatible to any other car.
