I want to see a Honda Civic drift. :grinyes: When I get my 10 years of drifting experience, I'd love to get a rice-looking Honda Civic with essential drifting mods done and drift. Just because its hard to drift in it.

um......in case you dont know, drifting isn't really the same in an ff as fr, and most people including me dont really think that ff drifting is really drifting, and this thread will probably be locked after a fight starts up within a couple days.
have fun! =D

Even on a FR, power oversteer is only one of the many ways to get the car to "drift". So for that reason, FF can and do drift.

I know FF drifting is not the same as FR drifting. You can't drift as long in an FF car and so, right? ANyways, I don't really want to hear aany flames about how FR is better, because eventually I'll get an FR car anyway.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that FF drifting could actually be cooler than FR drifting. I mean, any idiot can hammer the throttle mid-corner and hang the tail on an FR, but it takes serious skill to hold a drift on an FF.

drifting starts before you enter the turn..not half way through it....idiot

not always. Besides, we have to agree that there cannot be one "correct" way to drift, since all drift competitions are judged subjectively. Its not like racing where it's cut and clear who the winner is. With drifting, the points are in the style. Which is why I suggest that FF drifting could be cool, cause it takes some serious talent and finesse to hold a drift.
If you want to get really technical, drifting always starts during cornering. You can't get a car sideways without some lateral force.
And I wasn't calling you an idiot. RelaXOR.

yes always....watching any real drifting and 95% of the time there sideways at teh begining of the turn.
yeah drifting does need cornering..but you can do that down a straightaway

drifting and ricey civics do not belong in the same sentence.
what was even the point of this thread? to start a flame war?
well it will if it stays open, so it's not going to stay open.
