Was wondering what the problem might be on my 94 Rodeo. There is a clicking noise that comes from behind the passenger side front dash. It started with a click only when I accelerated and everytime it clicked my fuel, battery, and ebrake light would blink with the clicking. My AC would also go on and off with the clicking. When I would use my brakes the clicking went away. Now all three lights stay on, my AC doesn't work and there is no more clicking. My fuel and performance are not affected by this. I wouldn't care too much about the lights, but I live in Florida and I need my AC. Please help, what could this be?? Thank you.

Battery cable is fine. Clicking seems to be coming from inside the Rodeo. Starts up fine, haven't had any problems with that. What controls the ebrake light, fuel light, and battery light and AC???

Those lights on simultaneously means your truck is maintaining less than 14VDC at idle. 99% of the time this is due to a bad alternator. Check around these forums & you will see a new/OEM alternator is a must in these trucks.

the lights are blinking and staying on at times. Alty was replaced 15,000 miles ago. Maybe it has gone bad???

Thanks for all your help!!! Alty is fine. Had a bad relay in the fuse/relay compartment of engine. Charger Relay. Fixed it today $16. Better than changing the Alty. :)
