94 Caravan...Dash Lights Out

Started the van the other night...No dash lights. Figured, No problem, change the fuse. Now for the problem...the fuse is not blown and the dimmer switch is in the proper position.
Any ideas on what may have caused this and how to fix this??? Anyone else have this problem?

probably an open circuit that controls the dash light circuit.

Mine does this every once in a while, banging on the dash with my fist usually brings 'em back. I've seen others with the same problem and solution, too. I believe one guy went to the trouble to take it all apart and test everything, and found 2 bad diodes on the circuit board behind the dash.

Mine does that but only in the winter. I get mine back by pulling the IOD fuse from the fusebox in the engine compartment and putting it back in.
