mileage

does anyone know how many miles you can travel on a full tank of gas in an 1995 monte carlo? I just bought the car used and don't have the money to get the fuel gage fixed so i am going to do the whole trip button thing til then...please let me know...Donna

depending on weather, how hard you are on the gas, city/highway driving, etc....anywhere between 280-400 miles is normal. (at least that's where mine's been as long as I've owned it). If less than that then there could potentially be some problems.

they have a 16 gallon tank; next time you fill up reset the trip meter and next time you fuel up figure out what kind of gas mileage you're averaging between fillups that'll give you a great idea of how far you can go.
