2002 Keyless Entry

I have tried to program a couple of remotes I bought, and it did not seem to work. I read that you have to have power seats to even have keyless entry I do not have power seats. Can someone help me out. Thanks

You don't need to have power seats to have keyless entry. That part of the instructions only needs to be carried out if you do have power seats that hold memory position. Are you sure you purchased the right remotes for your truck? Not all remotes are interchangeable between vehicles. You must match the frequency/part number code on the back of the remote with those that were specific for your year of truck.
