My turn signal switch needs to be replaced in my '96, (surprise, surprise), and I need to know if I need to be careful of the airbag on the steering wheel to remove it. What is the proper procedure to remove the steering wheel?

First disable the driver side airbag (under the plastic dash panel, yellow CPA connector). Turn the wheel slightly to remove both screws behind the wheel, on the left and right. Return the wheel to its straight ahead position! An airbag can take a bit of abuse, but static is a no-no. Remove the airbag coil, noting its position, then boom, you can do the steering wheel magic removal.
