My EACV has been givin' me idle problems for awhile, but the check engine light has never come on. Finally, today it came on and threw a code which told me to check the EACV. It's on it's last strings now, it barely even keeps an idle if it even idles. I'm stuck most of the time with my foot on the clutch and the other foot hittin' the brake and the gas just to keep it alive at stops.
The question is, how much is a new EACV for my 89 CRX Si, and how hard would it be to install it?

I dont know how much exactly they are but they're relatively cheap. as for the installation its rather easy also. call up a few junkyards and get some prices.

Well, I called every junkyard, and no EACV's. I went to an autoshop and they said it would be around $240!!!!! Do any of you guys happen to know where to get an EACV for cheaper?
