cant switch vent

The air always comes out of my top vents. I cant switch it to the floor or anything else. Any ideas?

put on the air conditoner switch it then see what happens

I can switch from ac to heat but everything blows on my face no matter what.

It doesnt matter what i do. It still only comes out the front vents. I was thinking maybee a hose was disconnected but i looked under there and everything seems to be fine.

Check the vacuum ball mounted on your hood, make sure the lines are attached and not cracked..

Im sure i could find it if i looked long enough but what does it look like? Its one of those things i have never messed with. If everything checks out ok there, any other suggestions?

yeah, anything ever been spilled into the vent such as candy or pop (soda for all of you non michiganders)

Well im from Arkansas and we call everything coke. Doesnt make any sense does it... Anyways, i havent spilled anything down there. Im wondering if maybee there is a switch or fuse under the hood that has gone out. I just figured that there was someone else out there with a similar problem. Any input helps...

Do you think you could post the year of your vehicle? Not every Blazer uses vacuum to control the vents.

Vaccum leak, check all vacuum lines going to the control panel all the way to the vacum ball in the engine bay.

Hi I have a 99 Lumina and mine does the same almost except it blows under the dash by the floorboard and it seems to change when i brake??

Vacuum leak.
You brakes run off of vacuum too.
You need to trace all vacuum lines and check for leaks and splits.
