I wanted to get a functional ram hood for my maro but i had a question, when it rains doesn't the water come in as well as the air? i would appreciate any help.

Not usually, the ram air design keeps most of the water out, since it flips the air coming into the intake.

so long s you have an air filter, the small ammount of water that gets in will be soaked into the fiter and will just make it harder for the engine to breath, then it dries out and good as new. thats assuming it has direct contact with the water. you could make an airbox with a water drain hole to keep the water away from the filter.
