I went to Wal-Mart today to pick up some more Castrol Super Clean. I have to remove the chrome plating off of four pieces of my 512 TR.
As I passing through the store I glanced down the modeling isle and something caught my eye. It was a Revell Corvette Z06. I had to buy it. It looks like it is a top of the line Revell kit. I have all of the paints needed except gunmetal. Is there any way to mix some paints together to get gunmetal. I have Testors paints. I was thinking that some combination of Steel and Flat Black should work. Another thing about this kit is that it has decals for the middle inserts of the seats. I have never seen that before. At the rate I am going, I might get to this kit in two years.:D

I'd try mixing XF56 and X18 and see how it goes. Not really any good at mixing paints as i never seem to get them right.
Better if you just buy the correct colour as you will then always have it for others.

Would that be Semi Gloss Black and Metallic Grey?
