Help with wheels

i have been thinking of buying wheels for my car im thinking of 17"-18" i found one guy www.rim1.com who has the right 114.3 lug spacing but the only problem is that he sais that the wheels will not fit because they dont clear the brake calipers. now what im wondering is if i get wheel spacers will it perhaps push the wheel to near the wheel welds? and i am also wondering if getting 17 or 18 inch wheels will solve the wheel weld gap problem wich thease cars seem to have?

To check the sizing and spacing see http://www.daveblack.net/asp/TirePlusSizing.asp

I also have a spreadsheet written by Eric Bowden. If you'd like a copy, I'll zip it up and send it to you (assuming you have your email address in your profile)
