Advanced Car Search Unbiased on Make and Model

I'm basically looking for a way to search for my ideal car. I was looking for a website where I could essentially "build" my dream car, and it would come up with all the possible makes and models that fit my criteria.
What I want is some kind of site where I can enter things like how many seats I want (or gives me an option to choose ANY or leave it blank to give me more cars to choose from), automatic or manual transmission (or gives me an option to choose ANY or leave it blank to give me more cars to choose from), and all the other necessities like keyless entry and power seats, etc.
What I don't want is a website that forces me to decide what make and/or model I want from the very beginning, or forces me to decide between searching for a sedan or a minivan, or whether the car is new or used.
Does such a website exist?

Don't think so, but the closest you're gonna get is probably here. Why don't you post your requirements and we'll see what cars we can think of that meet your criteria?

Have you tried something like AutoTrader? Some of the auto classified sites have pretty advanced search criteria. You could plug in your desires and it would return results that might fit your wishes. Depending on how specific you want to go, Ebay has a pretty good search. It won't list by number of seats, but most cars are pretty obvious in that aspect. At least it will return results that you can narrow down with keywords and categories.
You can give it a shot here, but after about 6 posts it will turn into a "foreign vs. domestic" battle and you'll have trouble picking out truth from bling. At least you'll have some of us remaining objective :)
If you're going to post it here, allow me to suggest.... ask questions like power, number of seats, cargo room; questions that can be answered with numbers. If you start asking about reliability, comfort, or resale value you'll get answers that range from Yugo to Maserati. :D

Nissan Quest is my suggestion
(the only car that comes with 6 seats anymore that I can think of is the Lincoln Town Car)

Any preference on body type, speed, handling, utility, options, etc? The one non-SUV car that came to mind was one of the volvo station wagons. Perhaps subaru might have something as well.

I don't really have any preference on body type, speed, handling, or utility. The options that I want, that I thought of so far, I already listed.

Don't Cadillacs have 6-seat sedans? My dad's 2000 Deville does.
Nissan Quest
The 2004 only seats 7. Are you thinking of an earlier model? Remember, if it's an SUV/van/mini-van/etc., 8 seats or more.

What I don't want is a website that forces me to decide ... whether the car is new or used.
