I have not driven the coupe, however my dad owns the g35 sedan and I can tell you a little about that. It in my opinion is a great car. It has plenty of get up, rides very smooth, and handles like a dream. It is a really easy car to drive. My only complaint is the tectronic (however you spell it, even if that is the name of it on nissans) anyway the automatic where you can shift by flipping the shifter up or down, its a little slow. So if you enjoy winding the engine up I wouldnt reccomend using it. Im not sure if it comes with a manual but the automatic shifts nice and strong. In the past he has owned a couple bmw's and a mercedes and this is by far the most enjoyable and comfortable car.

Ya i love the g35, i have been in one and loves it... It does come with a manual gear box, if it is equipped with the "sport package", and i heard that the new 2005 models (sedans) are now coming with 295 Hp!!! thnx for the info!

I think it was the first car to beat out the BMW 3-Series in like 15 years in Car and Driver's comparison of sport sedans. (It came in #1) So it must be good.

I hate to be picky, but the G35 Sedan beat the 325i. Earlier it had lost to a 330i in a similar comparison. The C&D people said the 325i would have won, if it had more power...

Ya i saw that program on spike tv, and they did mention the power thing... But i have driven in both the 325 and the g35 and both of the drivers had there minds set on showing me how it preforms ;)
and based on that i think the whole feel of the g35 was more exhilirating, but i love the bimmer as well.
I also wanted to mention the M45 Sport, that is supposetly going to be realesed to dealerships in 2006, 4.5 Liter, 335 Hp, and 940 Lb-ft of tourque!
And it looks great too!

So the 325i would have won if BMW charged less for brand cachet and put the extra cost towards a bigger and better engine. BMWs are overpriced.

Ya i think they are a little over-priced esp when you compare them to the competition, but i still cant convince myself to completely let BMW down...
