One day I was driving and it cut out. The vehicle has not started since. So far, I've replaced the ignition module, the coil, and have improved the positive terminal voltage at the coil from 7.3 to 11.5v by doing some wire replacements. When I pull the coil spark wire from the center of the distributor and place it 13mm from a good ground, I get a spark intermittently but obviously not enough to start it. I'm at my wits end and I'm ready to roll it off of a cliff. Anyone out there have any suggestions of what I should do next?

What kind of ignition system, Autolite or Prestolite? You could have distributor problems, bad pickup module, rotor air gap off, etc. How about timing? Did it move? Is the cap cracked? Crank it in a totally dark garage and see if you see sparks shooting out of the wires, cap, coil, or anywhere else. Good luck!
