anyone going???. I live in Flint Mi (birthplace of gm) ands its only a half hour drive so i will def be going.

by they way have any of u seen the 2006 impalas and monte carlos, the SS versions of each are going to have 5.3 ls1's. i know its fwd but still, gm just keeps getting better and better (except the fact that the SS camaro was cheaper and faster then the GTO, not to mention better looking, and they give us a 30,000 big cav)

but hey, its a start

Just because something is front wheel drive doesn't mean it can't keep up with the big dogs , never count out FWD cars. The GTO was a shame..it doesn't seem to perform anything like the advertisements shown but then again , what car really does ? I'm going to be excited about the GT-R 2007 Skyline release..it's going to be the most dominating vehicle of 2007 , so the magazine says. No HP , top speed , 0-60 , qtm times yet but they should have some specs out soon..seen this just today by the way.

I wish they'd bring the chevelle back or a firebird.the one that was rated around 390 HP forgot what year that was but they could redesign the body and use the same engine designs. With todays technology they could turn that 390 HP engine into a 550 Hp engine. Sometimes if you think about the older cars with out dated technology , they seemed to have more HP than tons of the newer cars..why is that ? I feel robbed...

Anyways , something you should all look forward to is the 2006 - 2007 SEMA shows...gonna be bangin.

not saying i am right but maybe some of the people coming up with the ideas shy away from most cars that pack alot of hp since they want to try and market more towards family save cars

having a lot of hp and torque in front wheel drive cars, usually isnt the best idea, its mich better for rwd

Well if you figure it that way , FWD cars can get more HP to the wheels as they have less drive train to go through and lose HP through. If you go size for size.

Dude..my state is flooding O.o

i dont know what engine your talkin about puttin that hp in a chevelle but the 69 chevelle ss i belive ran somethin like a 13.4 quarter mile stock which is powerful for something weighing as much as it did
