drivers side window

Can anyone tell me if the roller that inserts into the window channel is a press fit into the drivers door regulator or if not how it can be removed. It looks as if the shaft press fits into the regulator but I cannot tell for sure. The car is a 1992 Cavalier 2 door with electric windows. I tried to twist it out with vice grips but only suceeded in twisting off part of it. Thanks.

You'll need a new (or used) window regulator assembly.

I was able to buy a replacement roller assembly at the Chevy dealer and this makes me think that there must be a way to remove it and put in the new one
