My cousin just bought a 2001 z28 with 71k miles on it and he paid 15K for it...the shape that it's in and the way it sounds when he starts it makes me believe he got taken for a fool. I was talking to him about it the other day and he told me he had a LT1 engine in it. He said that it came stock that way....is this possible? I got in an agrument with him about it and later thought that maybe I was wrong and he was right. Would someone please clarify for me if LT1 and LS1 engines are aftermarket or stock in Camaros? Thanks.
