What year is my car?

I've been told it was a 90', I always believed it was a 90', on the title it says 90'. But on the door sill it says 12/89. So is it considered an 89? or a 90?

Any differences between these two year models?

It was sold as a 90' so therefor, it is a 90'. It was just assembled in 89'.

look at the side moldings of the car. if its perfectly round and smooth then its a 90, but if there is like a little indentation in the moldings about the size of a pinstripe, then its an 89.

Its a 90, manufacture year doesnt allways indicate model year.

While I have this thread open.

Can I bolt a Jdm crx conversion onto my civic hatch?
If I have bumper, radiator support, headlights and corners, bumper lamps, fenders and hood.

I dont think it will fit, The hatches have the filler plate that the crx's dont. But if you want to sell it let me know. :)

if you have everything you listed it will bolt on, you have to modify the hood latch thing a little though.

I don't have it, but passwordjdm.com does.

I'm serious about doing it but, don't won't to spend money and it not fit.

anything after august of one modle year is considered the next model year eg 8/90 would be a 91 while 7/90 would be a 90

Why not just get the front end for your car instead of the crx?

I like the crx front more.
