Hey guys, I was curious if the Evo 8 MR could possibly drift effectively. I highly doubt it can on tarmac, but what about water, dirt/gravel, and snow/ice? Would any drift with the MR show slight understeer?
Also does anyone know the torque distribution for the three settings of the acd? Am I even thinking of the right thing? I don't know where i heard it, but I'm under the impression that one extreme is 50front/50rear, and the other is 90front/10rear.

Sure the MR can drift, but you won't be a D1 contender with one.
You can drift an RS, too.

you can drift any awd car as long as you have enough power

Yea, just make sure you have the right suspension and balance and you can pull it off. I've seen JUN's Evo 6 pull off a nice drift. But, you wont be allowed to comptete in the D1 because they only allow RWD cars. And dont do it too much on the road because it can fuck up the Evo's parts.

Evo's are built to handle as best as possible so drifiting like said needs a fair amount of power to get drift, although I personaly wouldn't drift one, I would go for more of autocross, and get the best handling I could, but it can, so just have fun driving

you can drift anycar if you know how to drive. but anyways the mr and rs will drift better because of the diffs than the viii will
