Save yourself some money and get the VT grills.

just wondering who would pay 100$ for the street scene grilles, when you can get some exactly like them on e-bay for 40$. and no, its not made of the mesh, chickenwire crap. Cargrilles.com i believe. Uses plasma cutter and aluminum.

Well, detractors aside, I love mine. Even made myself some matching hood grilles.

Overall they are very easy to install, once you get the hang of handling the clips. If your car is a pre-2001, total install should less than 20 min. If it is a later model, Pontiac added some baffles in '01 to help redirect air. These stand directly in your way and will triple the install time - at least.

so the botoms just go on with a few clips, no screws or anything?

Yes, that's right. Though some opt to secure them with clear zip ties. Quite tacky IMO.

I must say, that's a sharp looking GTX.

Wasn't there a thread that showed how to install the grilles?

You'll find several threads discussing the issue at ClubGP, but the link I found very useful was this (http://www.grandprix.net/ssgrille/speedgrille.html)

Get a hold of Cass. His Son (John jr.) is making grills. They are really nice. I have a set on order.
Cass can list some pictures.
Playa,
You need your pictures to have the car passing everyone, but the Gas station.

What? You don't like how I slow down to pass the undercover cop that has pulled oved the Fiero, then speed around the Saab wagon?

We have two types. Both look identical to the VT grills but one is 18 gauge steel and the other is 16.

My son is a little aggrevated with me at the moment. I have inadvertantly shut down production :twak:

We have the Cuda in the garage, with the engine and transmission out, so there's no room for him to make his grills. He hopes to begin production in the next few weeks.

Hey jim didn't Cass say that it wasn't even his cuda.
Maybe Im mistaken but I thought that he said it was his friends.

Nope, Cuda's not mine.......I wish!!!

Haven't decided on the pricing yet. Gonna make our pricing a little lower than the VT's. I'm figuring $10 difference between the two gauges. Price will include all four grills.

Looked at a 426 Hemi Cuda once. Guy gave me a price. I thought about it. Then took the money and bought a house.
OK, I know you have a 2 car "barn". What's up with the other side? You know, if Bill Gates Dad was like that, we'd have ....... better computers?
That's OK Cass. I took mine out when you said they'd be here soon. Now I have carboard where the grills go. And have it duck taped in. Cars over heating. Birds are picking at the cardboard to make nest. Trash guys want to take my car. I understand, let the Cuda come first.

No, I don't think so. But there is a way to put a 350 Chevy in it. But seeing that she is "with child", we'll have to wait on that.
