Mpg 351 Vs 460

I am wondering about what is the difference in gas milege. What was the best year for the 351 and the 460 in MPG. :licka: :bananasmi

My '88 351 with the AT averaged about 14. I highly doubt the 460 would get that with a tail-wind after you dropped it off a cliff.


If MPG is any consideration at all (and when is it not?) I'd stick with the 351. It still has plenty of power, and you may actually stop at every OTHER gas station, rather than hitting every single one.

if it is a daily driver go with the 351, if it is a hobby get you a 460
