This Does NOT Make your car fast!!

For some reason i have all these stock cars coming after my GSR as soon as they see me pass by. Most of them are stock old accords and beat up civics. They all have acouple of things in common.. So i want to clear things up with some people incase they didnt know..

Altezzas.. they dont make your car fast...
Springs.. just cause ur car is low doesnt mean u got more Hp..
Tints.. they add a big fat "0"
Sound System.. Adds weight.. most certainly does not add Hp.
Big ass Rims.. the bigger the rim the more HP? ah no! Chrome.. even worse
Stickers!!? I dont care if you got a greddy sticker.. u and i both know u can barely spell greddy. Let alone have parts from them

Whoo.. sorry i had to vent. Im tired of driving around and these bone stock cars with the above name modifications coming after me. As if they had a chance at all. This happens atleast twice a day. No joke.. its sad. I drove by an old accord with altezzas and a broken muffler so it sounded loud and i was going about 40 in a 45 and he went nuts. Right on my ass.. so i pull aside and he pulls next to me and stays next to me. So ofcourse i showed him what gsr power is all about and left him so far behind it must have been train lengths between us. U name it the cars try to race me. old preludes they arent even SIs, civics that look like came out of the junk yard. I mean really.. if u have no mods and ur car is slow to begin with.. why go after a car that comes faster than yours? And if its auto.. i mean really.. come on now.. I know im not the only one that this happens to!?

why do you think so many American car owners hate people who drive Integras and Civics. It's because of stupid kids like that, they give everyone a bad name. And I'm sure the majority of people here feel the same way.

actually i noticed a big difference when i got my springs on , off the line my car rips since the drop ...

but i did "race" this tiburon on the highway. from what i can tell he just got a new exhaust system(twin tip) and the car looked very shiny and clean. he was in the far right lane and i was in the 2nd lane from the left. he pulls all the way into the fast lane and i guess attempted a flyby, but i just dropped into 3rd, caught up in 4th and just passed him. he stayed behind me after that...

i compeletely and loyaly agree with you civic spoon. People like that give a crappy rep to our cars. Ive pulled up next to people who give my car a thumbs down and tell me how they beat up on my car all day. Then we race, i smoke them and i tell them that not all hondas are riced out. Some people do know what they are doing with their hondas

Not nearly enough, we are a dying breed *cries*. It used to be people who mod cars got respect, but not anymore. Its really sad, in my shop class my teacher wouldnt let most of the people in there work on their cars if they had things like neon lights and huge wings unless they could prove that they had the power to back it up. Hes a good man.

A lot of people now days think that all they need to be fast is a vtech engine wiht some CAI.... But they are wrong, there is a lot more in a civic than just a vtech.....

i use a samsung phone, i think it's got a little better reception then the vtech one :D but i do agree assuming you you’re referring to a vtec motor, i'm not sure what everyone has done to their engines here but building a fast motor takes a lot more time, dedication and $$ then a CAI

i hear ya guys on that. I just got my crx like 3 weeks ago and like every night on my way home i get like at least 2 people that want to race. I try not to but some people are really gay and must be put in there place... last place

ya i cant really say that I relate, I mean, my car is set up for show, westwings widebody hatch, seats, cage, couple G's into my stereo, but noone ever tries to race me because i have a suspended drivers license so i always drive super slow now- so the APC racers don't seem to come my way.

when they pull up next to you just let them rev their d15b2's and b7's to their limiter (6400 what a joke) all they want and dont waste your time. otherwise youre lowering youreself onto their level, just treat your baby nicely cause its a work of art, not a salvaged, revived, demolition derby drag racer

J/K im no ricer, just having a little fun, although i did have some neons on my car before.

I Drive a Turbo DSM (99 Eclipse) But I hang with alot of Honda guys & Nissan guys etc. ITs a shame that Honda is like the choice car for people who want to act a fool. Because some of you guys really know what you are doing with your cars and that small few people give all you guys a bad name.

and its because civics are super common and dirt cheap so its a more common car to begin with, then with the amount of APC lights produced every year it creates a new generation of APC racers.

I saw the most riced out civic I have ever seen one time. Altezzas, 90583495 stickers, obnoxious graphics, a huge ass wing, huge exhaust tip, you name it this guy had it. I was expecting to see a 18+ second timeslip. He ran a 12.6@???mph. Apparently he had a built turbocharged B18C1. Can you say sleeper?

Yeah, the other day I was on the freeway coming home from school and I saw this old ass accord, completly stock but was very loud so I looked over at it and saw four exhaust tips in a row, they looked like stock tips welded together. The guy had cut out some of his bumper to fit it in there. It was the most ridiculous things I have ever seen.

hey guys i went to the 'stress relief' forum in the 'completely off topic section' and it helped a lot! i still hate rice but its better to channel it in there than get banned for expressing it in one of these threads, though ur all using much restraint :)

What I really hate are ppl that only change there muffler with some big ass tips. The muffler is expecting more exhaust flow but it's not getting it due to the midget sized piping. When you add an aftermarket muffler with your stock piping it sounds like the loudest fart in the world. If your gonna change your exhaust system do it right and make it complete. Because personally doing it that way seems like the muffler is more show than go.

it just seems when its comes to building a nice/ well running car u either got it or u dont. where i live, all the nice imports that have alot of money into them are the cars u see driving the speed limit. they got nothing to prove.

ya, what makes me really mad is when rich kids get nice cars and then get money and buy like AEM intakes and crap and say they got 25 horse when that is the only mod they have except a new muffler and rims. People need to learn something about their cars first.

LMAO, but seriously watch out for the cars w/ underbody and in-car neons, but most of all, the cars that have light-up neons on the wheels and they light up as the wheel turns. Those add like 75hp per tire...uh...right?

i can handle the 8 foot erector set wings on the back of accords with the bumper falling off and the pipes held together like you see on almost every mustang (a coat hanger cleverly wrapped around the pipe and frame) but what I cant handle is the new fad here to goto autozone and buy all the guages you can because apparently making your driver seat look like a fighter plane interior makes your car go VRRROOOMMMMM.. this toyota echo that has a folger can exhuast, 18 million random gauges, and at least a 6 inch spoiler trys to race everyone. Its sad because I think mopeds have faster 0-60 times than that car.

oh the best guage is the giant apc tach that she has on her dash with her super sporty 100hp echo.. wHOOOO APC makes car go VROMMMMM YAY!!! my tach is better than your tach!
