2000 Jeep Cherokee Stalling Problem

I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with 88,000 miles that stalls when you come to a stop sign or stop at a red light.
It drives fine until you come to a stop, after it stalls it starts right up again and drives fine until you stop again.
I was able to put it in neutral and give it a little gas to keep it from stalling.
Does anyone have any idea what it might be?
Thanks

Sound like it is the IAC Motor Located on the back of the throttle body. A common problem on Jeeps. Try cleaning it with carb cleaner or starting fluid if it dosent work you will have to replace it. Could be fuel related like low fuel pressure or clogged filter. My first guess is the IAC!

Thanks for your help, I can't seem to find it though..could you explain where it is or pictures would really help if you happen to have any.
Thanks again.

Ok, I figured out a workaround to get it to stop stalling.
If I leave the air conditioner or heat on while stopped, the car will not stall..but if I turn the A/C off, it sounds and feels like it will stall.
Any idea if that could help narrow down the problem?
The jeep is a 4.0 and I will send you an e-mail now.
Thanks
