lude vs. rsx

this question has ben ask since the begging of time but whats better in your guys opinions the rsx-s or the 4gen vtec ludes i just want to start a debate ...... overall, looks, dragracing, handling, and what takes better to mods.. thanks guys

Looks I would say the 4th gen lude all the way. Although I am very biased considering I own one, but I presonally think that it looks much better than the RSX. I have never seen the interior of an RSX but I would assume it has more people room than a 4th gen, I can't have more than 3 people in my car unless the 4th is a really small girl. And on top of all that 4th gen ludes are cheaper than an RSX.

i agree totally. i think the 4g ludes are ahead of their time (looks, engineering etc.)

Well if I'm not mistaken an RSX makes 200 hp, as does the 5th gen prelude. Granted the RSX is lighter. I'd still take a lude over an RSX any day. Everyone thinks that RSX's are the greatest thing ever made, all the little kids want one, but I don't think they are as good as they are made out to be, they really aren't anything special and no offense to RSX owners but they just don't look good, in my opinion

looks...prelude wins, drag racing...prelude wins (preludes have about 20ft/lb more torque, and the 4th gens were quite light...mid to low 15's on the RSX compared to high 14's on a 4th gen), handling, i'm nore sure, i've never ridden in an RSX, but i'd bet on a lude, though they might be even...so overall i'd take the lude anyday.

jesus christ another bump of this thread? drivers race period. 5th gen is a little heavier with worse gearing while 4th is almost as light with more torque and better gearing. i give the nose to the 4th gen if i had to but like i said, drivers race and you're stupid if you say otherwise.

a toyota camry has 194 hp. my mom's accord V6 sedan has 200hp, a 97 ford explorer V8 has 205hp. and a hummer H1 has 195hp. i think even a bad driver in a 4th gen vtec and rsx-s shoudl be able to beat all these cars.

correction: the V6 4.0 liter explorer has 205hp, the 5.0 liter V8 has 215hp. But the point was still made.

Couldn't have said it better myself. All the sport compacts that are around the 200hp mark and between 2500 - 3000lbs should be a drivers race. Each car will have its strong points.

did you say otherwise? i dont think so prick. that wasnt directed strictly at you, you sensitive fucktard. the looks of both are acquired tastes, you wont know much about handling unless youve driven both hard on a track or maybe the street, and everyone knows rsx's respond better to mods. you mentioned dragrace, people responded to dragrace as well, so my comment was directed at.......guess what......the dragrace aspect.
