carb problems

I have a 4-barrel 750 cfm holley carb and when ever i try using it the engine will run fine for a while but when i accelerate the back bowl floods and the engine floods out. im using my friend 770 rightnow but he wants it back any. i've rebiult it cleaned the whole thing and it still floods. any ideas?
