taxi driver

A passenger taps the taxi driver on the shoulder to ask him a question. Suddenly the driver screams, loses control of the vehicle, nearly hits a bus, mounts the pavement, and stops inches from a shop window. For a second, everything is quiet in the cab, then the driver says "Don't ever do that again. You scared the daylights out of me!" The passenger apologises and says he didn't realise that a little tap could scare someone so much. The driver replies "Sorry, it's not really your fault. Today is my first day as a taxi driver - for the last 25 years I've been driving a hearse."

LOL that reminds me of something I heard once. True story: A guy was driving with a shipment of a couple hundred pagers (i think it was in Europe, I don't remember). Suddenly, every single one of the pagers went off, scaring the guy so shitless that he lost control of his car and drove into a lightpost. After he got out and realized he was ok, he ripped open one of the boxes with the pagers in them and they had all recieved a message that said "congratulations on your new purchase." lol

did he sue the company? he would probably win! I would go so far as to say he should've if he didn't. :p

I don't remember - probably. LOL for the most part, I usually think lawsuits are retarded, but that actually would be a legit case for once. I'd do it!

in NYC a contracter sued a tool company for the cost of all the steel for a building because all the tape measures they had been using were missing an inch, and it was only noticed after all the steel arrived and was an inch off. :loser:
