Brake Squeal

Since I have replaced my brakes with the top of the line pads and rotors from NAPA my brakes have squealed. I have shaved down my rotors and cleaned the pads and I still get the squeal. I have heard that the top of the line pads are made of material which is packed together tighter so that can make the squeal. I am thinking of buying cheap pads from Autozone to see if the lower end pads fix the problem. I'm just looking to see what other peoples opinions are.

If they are metallic pads, they will probably squeel. Also, you have to put the anti-squeel stuff that comes with the pads on the back of the pad lining to reduce that squeel as well. Hope that helps some.
