Tundra Vs. Z71

My dad was driving to work one day in his 2000 Tundra, around 6 am, he pulls to a light, and this Chevy Z71 pulls from behind him to get next to him, the Z71 had aftermarket dual exhaust and stuff...
When the light turns, they both floor it, and in the words of my dad "All i saw was the front of his truck before the race started (focusing foreward), then after the light he never saw the truck again except in his rear view mirror

I love Toyotas.....

Hey, man. How did you put that many miles on your truck? You must do some serious cruising! Nice kill on the Z....

Yeah, they're pretty quick for stock trucks. What kinda times do you put down, qr? Just curious because I saw a car similar to the one in your sig running high 14s at the track the last time I was there. It was pretty quick, and I have no idea on mods, etc.

my maxima runs low 15s probably like 15.1 or 15.2 b/c its a 4 spd auto. I also need to get use to launchin it b/c of traction problems, if it was an awd it would be so sweet.
what does the 2004 big block tundra run? mid to upper 15s right?
2005 is a little bit faster.. right?

i dunno what i would run (i have a 89 Maxima 5-speed)...i ran against a 89 Civic hatch with a GSR swap in it that runs 14.5's...and he didn't WALK away from me...he started off behind me and by the end of the race he was next to me...but then again he has the 6 speed and LSD...but i dunno...i'd say maybe 15.4-.7? i honestly dont know...

Oh, and the beginning of the race was a left turn out of our school...i was spinnin tires the entire time, and spun them into second, giving him plenty of time to get up to speed on me...
