3rd Gen Si PGM-FI Conversion??

Has anyone seen or done themselves a swap of the 3rd Generation Civic Si(EW4 engine, w/ FI) intake manifold and FI components over to the carbureted Civic Dx(EW1 engine)??

So basically, can I get the intake manifold, fuel pump, ECU, TB, and whatever else I may need from a salavge Civic Si, and relpace the old carburetor setup? Since they are both the 1.5 liter engines?

Am I looking into more trouble and money than its worth?

I was looking for the same answer but for the 2nd gen CRX. My friend wants to take my old intake manifold from my D16A6 and put it on his DX(D15B2). I hope it works cuz were gonna give it a shot.

Well we tried it and it's not obviously just plug and play. There isnt any injectors like the Si so i would also like to know how hard it would be to do this. Thanks.

Don't know if this will help, but the guys who own 3rd gen Accords have put together a howto on the carb-efi conversion. Maybe some of the info may be sorta similar, or at least give ya some ideas.:) http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t13353.html

Yeah the things would be similar to the 3rd gen Accord.... but still you would need other stuff I think depending of your car I think. The CVCC engine won't allow the EFI conversion (if you got the CVCC)

Check here 3rd gen Civic club (http://www.3rdgencivic.com/) for info. Some guy did it on his hatch I think... Ask in the message board.

Ok, thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure my Civic is not CVCC. Since I can't find any specs that say it is, and it doesnt say it anywhere under the hood(like my friends '85 Accord does).
