Lightswitch Install??

I need to install a new headlight switch in my '91 Cherokee Ldt., but can't seem to get to the old one to remove it. I have removed dash panels trying to get to it, but I'm not any closer. Any suggestions?

I have not done it but I found some instructions.

1. Disconnect Battery
2. Pull headlight switch out to the ON position.
3.Reach up behind dash and press the release button on switch housing. Pull control shaft out of switch.
4. Unplug electrical connector and unscrew the ferrule nut.

After you remove the lower dash panel, you can put your finger up and push on the small spring loaded button while pulling on the control shaft and it will slide out. Do like m000035 says and diconnect the battery, I didn't do that and had some sparks.
