engine fuze

here's the problem. Everytime it starts in first gear, the car will stale then blow the engine fuze. We think it might be the stereo, but were not sure. Is there a line that we should check to look for a bad wire? how would we go about doing this?

Perhaps there is a damaged wire making contact with the clutch pedal or clutch bracket & springs?

we found it, there was a wire harness that was melting on to the exauhst manifold. So that was grounding it out, and we taped it off and it runs fine now. Thanks for your help highlandlake.
