Heater Problem In 1990 Gmc Sierra

We have a 1990 GMC sierra.. And all of a sudden the control thing in the dash jus quit working.. So we got a different and put it in.. And it still gets no electric to it.. I'm sure both of the controllers work.. They just aint gettin no juice to it... If anyone else has had this problem Could u please lemme know how u fixed it.. Thank u so much.. Susan
