car accident

I know this probably doesn't count as street racing..but I mostly post in this forum so I want to tell you guys about it. Okay, so I was out cruising tonight when I was approaching a red like that just turned green...so I was slowing down because the cars were still stopped..when BOOM. Some girl in some kind of black lincoln thing rearended me. I started to pull over to the side of the road..and she did the same. but, there was an exit onto the highway near by...so she tried to 'fake me out' and pulled up behind me like she was going to stop. THEN, floored it and took the exit ramp. Well, she made a huge mistake thinking she was going to outrun a GT mustang. I put it in gear, spun her around and took off after her. I chased her until I could get her license plate number..then I followed her blowing my horn. Then, I told one of my passengers to use my cell phone and call the police. I tried pulling up beside her and telling her to pull over...but she hurried up and took an exit and almost wrecked her car. So, then I went to the police station and gave them all the information and everything and they went to her house but she wasn't there of course. I just got a phone call a little while ago from the state trooper who assisted me and he says they've been going to her house all night and she hasn't been home. They left a note on her door saying it would be in her best interest to contact the police and turn herself in. I think perhaps she was drunk/on drugs and that's why she decided to flee. So afterwards I parked my mustang at home, got in the trustsy ol' mercedes and drove to the hospital from which I was just released. I sat there for 7 fucking hours. It's a damn shame she had to be such an idiot and try to run...AND to make it worse...she actually thought she was going to outrun a gt mustang in a lincoln! HA.

damn it man, that some deep trouble yr in man.

i hate people like that. The fact that it is a girl makes it even worse, girls are not made to flee in an accident :nono: . I think it must mean that she was on drugs like you said, but it must really be some crack shit or something like that, otherwise she would'nt try to flee like that almost wrecking her car and all.

I hope for you she isn't some crackwhore. Good luck finding her.

Other possibility is she wanted to stop but then she got frightened of seeing you in that gt :grinyes:

damn man...that sucks...one time someone rearended another person while they were trying to make an illegal u-turn thru the median...and fled. someone else saw it happen and was like "i'll go get him"...sure enough...10 minutes later, here they both come...i was dyin...lol

fleeing the scene of an accident... not a hit and run... hit and run is when you hit someone... not their car, and flee.

you get to the hospital at 8pm... you wait in the waiting room until 2am... go to the office ... wait in the office for the doctor until 3:45. doctor sees you, writes a perscription, does an xray, and releases you at 4am

underground killah nailed it right on the head. I got a little banged up but I'm okay. I hit my head on the steering and god damn that hurt, I had a killer headache all night. I got to the emergency room around 12:30am...didn't get to leave until 7:30am. My car isn't too damaged. I definitely need a new bumper though...luckily it didn't break any taillights or anything. Built ford tough! haha. I know they're going to get her. I mean damn...I have all her information...name/address, everything. She will not get away with this.

3 suggestions:
1)if your as mad as we'd be, the stake out her house till she comes home..maby shes just not answering the door and hiding her ride in the garage when she comes home. it would make your feel a little less helpless.
2) no need to contact her any ways though.. find out who her insurance co is through the po po's and report it to your insurance co. thell take it from there...
3) last but not least, call your local auto reck lawer (every town has one) i live in alaska, and his name is bill azar "one call, thats all"

Was it a crappy car (rusted out etc,) or did it appear new? Is your insurance going to cover the damage in case they never find her?

It was an 02 lincoln something. Not one of those huge towncars, but some kind of four door. I already have her insurrance info and all and I already called her insurrance company and mine. I'm not going to get a lawyer unless she trys to deny hitting me. I'm not going near her house. If she sees me she'll call the police and say I'm threatening her or something. That wouldn't look so good in court.

There are FAST Lincolns out there. A Mark VIII LSC will easily walk away from a GT.

well, she's going to get away with it. she went into the police barracks yesterday and the police said they saw no consistent damage on the front of her vehicle. but, she had plenty time to go doctor it up. I'm fucked.

I took video of the rear of my car...but she has no 'apparent' damage to her car...so really, I can't even prove she hit me or that she was ever in an accident.

there are no traces of paint swaps? if you can find paint from her car on yours, maybe the can do a trace analysis on it.

Look seriously this is when you take shit into your own hands. I know its f'ed up to mess with people's rides and stuff but what the hell, an eye for an eye. I know exactly how you feel bro cause same shit happened to me except the bitch went to court and said I provocked the accident by slaming on my brakes, the court bought it and I got screwed severely. that was four years ago and she cost me $16,000 then, in about three more years she will have payed me back every last penny! I cant post about it cause, well ...... I cant but trust me, once or twice a year I make sure she has to pay. Dude dont take this shit sitting down bro. or do what Underground said and sue..........of course that shit didnt work for me either, but your in a different state so maybe you will be luckier.

If they throw out criminal charges, call your lawyer, and get him to start working on a civil case. Sue her ass for every penny she has. If you have paint from her car on yours, they can probablly do a trace (Yay for CSI!), and that would prove that she did do it. Even if not, you can still bring up a civil case.

That, or hunt her down and steal her car...or follow her, find out if she does drugs or is cheating on a husband or something like that, and then blackmail her ass.

This is my dream car..and I guess it's this easy for some slick skuzzbucket to take it away from me. If my lawyer can't do anything, I'm just going to have to suck it up.

I didn't understand that either..I was yelling at the cop on the phone tell him where I was and to send someone out...he just old me to pull over and someone would meet me. but I was like then how're you going to catch this person!? How many days was it before they found her? She had to have got it fixed...Check her record on teh car...Liek carfax or something?

It was roughly 2 days. It happened friday night, they found her sunday night around 11:30pm.

try to get some close up photos of the front of her car. make sure to get alot of off angles, so you can try and tell if the same color touch up paint was added to cover up the color of your car. get as much info, because if the police were unable to find proof, it will fall on to you to prove that she was the cause of the accident. talk to her insurance agent if you can find out who it was. you might end up having to take this into civil court. collect all the proof that you can to prove your case and win.

yea civil court it... just cause she thought she could fool the cops doesn't mean she can fool a judge. Sure, you drive a sporty car, but the idea that her paint is on your car and yours is on hers (even in trace amounts) it can build quite a convincing case.... or maybe she paid the cops off... who knows... women can convince men pretty easily if you know what i mean..

either way, sue. it's the american way. don't go and deface anything, because that's retarded and you will end up getting banned on here.
