looks a bit like an abstract kind of drawing from the shading and the intercooler and the "teeth" either side

It looks wierd, but I can't tell how. Nice Shading though!

Shading is good, rims look sort of flat, good.

Pretty good. The rim is off, and you have some dark sharp outlines around some parts of the car. Otherwise it's good

Your shading is already smooth and it's not really clear what you just asked >>>

Oh well, he likes using unproper engrishness. Leave him alone :p
And, as jeep said, your shading is already good, leave it as is.

Thats because AF is an international forum, you should know, Canuck. Not everyone speaks English.
I like the car cover idea too, never seen that before.

I agree with alex some darker value mostly on that front corner under the headlight will give more definition to the car takeing away from the flat look in the area.
as far as tortilla's or tortili...tortilon's well I believe they are blending stumps. I find them to be a waste of money. just buy a large box of q-tips or be a big spender and buy buy some of those q-tips with one pointed end and one regular end.

Ahh, man, it's all good. No one will old you to it. And ya still typed it wrong :p
It should be,
"Are you guys using Tortillions to get the shading so smooth?"
Or
"Do you use tortillions to make smooth shading?"
Sorry, I had to. It's still all good.

you can feather the pencilwork with very soft lead to get good shading. were i you, i would first understand delicate shading only with pencil first. no stump yet.
drawing you have is like weird style. look at car parked outside and study the glass and metal. look carefully. then use only pencil to copy this effect of nature. nevermind stump right now. you must first understand light.

Does the skateboard actually run, and are the nitrous and turbo just for show?
