What would be the best 5 or 6 possible , speed tranny to throw to the back of my 350 ? I want something that can handle a lot more than 300 HP. and..if anyone has gone through the actualy conversion , is it more than its worth ? Like the cutting , the wiring , the prom , etc..

well the T-56 is prolly what you would want to swap it with , the T5 wont hold up if you really plan on puting a 350 behind it , havnt done the swap myself but as long as you have all teh parts shouldnt be too bad , just make sure you have a donor car or somethin
theres lots of info on it if you search

well, richmond makes a strong 5 speed. that would be a bolt in if you already have a manual. If its an auto to manual swap, might as well go with the T56.

I'm just concerned about the cutting..like is it worth it ? or should I just find a dead 5 speed and throw my engine into that

no cause the stock 5 speeds that came in the camaros were not ment to be put behind a 350 thats why you will never see one stock that came from the dealer, (not including police vehicles)
the T-56 swap isnt too hard they have the cros member and as long as you have a donor car or all the parts shouldnt bee too hard tho i havnt done it

yup, id say the T5 is a waist of time if you are building any power. Id go with the T56.
