i have a 95 blazer Lt and i want to put a safari bar on it. i been doing some looking around and all i seen was safari bars for 98 and up s-10 and blazers. i looked at pepboys and such.
my question is did anyone install one on their 95-97 and if so did you use a 98+ safari bar and how easy was it to install?
if anyone has any input let me know or places i can go or web sites and look at more safari bars
thanks

Maybe someone else can chime in on this one with good news, but I looked all over for a safari bar for my 97. No luck. I contacted Summit and asked them about installing the 98 bar on a 97 and they told me that there was a slight difference in the frames when GM built the 98's and newer, but it was just enough to prohibit alligning the bar properly to the mounting points. I would guess that a little fabrication might do the trick, but I'm lacking in that area so I just went with a Grizzly grill guard. If you really want the safari, you could go to your lacal welding shop and see if they can make you up some mounts to fit your 95.

Check westin and smittybilt's sites, they will have what you're looking for. I have a west full brushguard on mine (see www.pghconsulting.net/teal )
