How much do you think a muffler shop, or like a meineke shop would charge to put my car on the lift, and cut off my 2 mufflers..?
Thats all i'd want done.
Sorry if this is off-topic for the off topic forum, but i wanted to know if anyone had experiance wth what shops charge.

1,000,000.00 USD!
Muahahahahahah!
Really I have no effin clue, as usual. Why don't you just call a muffler shop and ask them yourself. Just a thought.

Probably less than $75 with the new pipes installed. Why don't you do it yourself?? Buy some piping, cut it to length, chop off muffler, seam weld new pipe in place. It will be a straight shot so it should be easy.

Sorry guys..it's late at night, and i was curious, gonna call them tomorrow.
BTW, would a 5inch cut-off wheel hooked up to a normal drill be able to cut that pipe..? Or would the drill be to slow and just jump on me.

I'll do it for free. All you need to do is bring the car to Italy! :icon16:

You could always use a hack saw or a sawzall too.
By the way this is my 500th post. Yeah for me, or not.

Just take a sawzall and cut em off. You could always clamp up pipes till you can get them welded.

most drills dont go fast enough to use a cut off wheel, use an angle grinder or a die grinder or a hacksaw.

I'd use my dremel. It cuts pipes very nicely:thumbsup:
