Tacoma cd player

The cd player in my 2000 Tacoma prerunner-works for about 10 minutes & then the display reads- error- I have cleaned the cd player but that did not work. The cd player in my 1998 camry has done the same thing from time to time- Does anyone know if all toyotas do this?(my 2004 Sequoia has not done it yet) Any advise would help Thanks

my 98 tacoma did this i completely removed it from the dash took the cover off of it and cleaned it . its worked well with no probs ever since.

yea you could get the spray cleaner that people use to clean off keyboards and such. spray it on and it dries instantly.
