Hi guys, first post here. To tell you the truth, I don't know much about imports outside of the Honda/Acura line so I've decided to browse through various forums. I'm an owner of an 98 Acura Integra. I've gone through the whole body kit, rims, audio system, bolt ons, turbo phase. My cars been a victim of countless break-in attempts. It's very distessing. Now I'm simply looking for an import car that comes nicely out of the factory. My brother has a 91 turbo MR2 which is a really fun car but the space just won't cut it for me.
I want a sporty car, that will comfortably fit a 6' tall person, and is in a decent price range. I can probably sell my car for $7500-8000 which would give me a great down payment towards the new car.
The Supra caught my attention simply because it's such an awesome car. Are there any cars that you'd recommend? There are some very decent prices for auto tranny Supras...but after driving a manual car for so long I don't know if I'll enjoy a non-clutch car. Any advice or input would help. Thanks!
PS. If anyone knows, how much more should I expect the insurance premium to go up from an Integra to a Supra?

I'd expect insurance to go up about 75%-100% for a Twin Turbo Mk IV. I know manuals are fun, but for drag racing auto TT supras are actually better. Were you looking at a TT or NA Supra? Also, a Supra, being what it is I think would attract almost as much thief attention.

for your height problem..once u have bucket seats in any car u can pretty much fit a six' person lol. second..if your worried about theft, well a supra is for sure a car i would love to steal so i think if ur going to have some sort of import that you will modify you are better off wit some sort of alrm system. as for other cars, i would recommend a aorund 1997 240sx which is pretty nice or if you are able to an RX7 which im not too sure but will have the same price of insurance as a supra.
