installing sun roof

just brain storming, but do you guys think it would work out if i found a newer chevy with electric sun roof and put it in my truck? not the kind that slides into the roof, but the kind that is the "spoiler" style

They call those moon roofs and its possible but I would have it professionally done I think it would look pretty bad ass too.

my grandpa and uncle run a shop so i would do it there with the supervision of them and my cousin, its practicly professional instalation, but do you think it would work if i pulled one off of like a monte carlo or cacalier??

Since there is nothing important in your head space as long as the moonroof would fit witch it should and center it further to the back of the roof it would look pretty cool they probably make them but i've never seen a S-10 with a glass top I say if your uncle thinks it will work it would stand out in a croud.

o it will work, im just being cheep and trying to avoid paing the 300 dollers for a new universal one, and e bay doesnt have anything except parts off other cars

I have one by Webasto on my standard cab s-10.... I love it. always get people asking about it, go for it

find a place in your arear that sells sunroofs, usually if a place sells something they will install it
