3.2 trooper

Can any body tel me, what is the best oil to put in my trooper 3.2.V6
should i go the ful works and put mobil 1 fully syn in?
The trooper has aprox 125k miles on it.

Also looking to replace the exhaust with a full stainless, has any body left the cat off and if so what diferance has it made.

Wow, someone must love their Troop because Mobile Syn 1 is like gold, or almost as expensive as it. :biggrin:

I am pushing 160K and run 5W-30 Castrol/Valvoline/whatever (not mixed), but try and change it more often.
*Side note, I also have a lifter noise prob when oil breaks down enough*

I did get a new exhaust system, but CAT is still on.
