Should I go for it?

So someone I know is selling a silver camaro for about $2500, and I was wondering if I should try to save up the money and buy it. All my life I have had a passion for camaros and this is a good opportunity...the only thing is, he has a reputation for driving the shit out of his cars. It's like a 95, but im not sure on the exact year or trim model. Do you think it's worth it to go ahead and try for it, and maybe replace any parts that need it? He drove me home in it today, and he commented that hes trying to sell it so hes not tearing it up as much...

oh yeah, its a manual, and seems to still be in pretty good condition, not sure on the miles either...

dude sounds good, try it out first bro, its a 95 model and 95s came with a 3.4 liter. it could be worn slap out.

yeah, the thing is, since its like my dream car, (unlike other people's lambos and ferrarirs...*ick*) and they dont make them, i wanted to get one. i dont want the risk of waiting so long that they become extremely rare and very high priced for that.

when you look at it see if you can drive it, check the oil, and make sure its charging good too, and make sure it runs cool. i had a bad experiance once buying a camaro back in 98 i found a 87 iroc-z, it was white with the gold and black trim, i tried it out, and liked it. so i took it home. ichanged the oil, and noticed that the oil was thick.when i put 10w 30 back in the car it smoked like a freight train. i was very disappointed and i returned the car to the lot the next day, see i was gonna pay 4100 for it, if the car was only like 1500 i would have just rebuilt the motor

yeah, i would have my cousin help me check it out first. but its not like a serious thing, i dont have a job and im broke, im just hoping....thanks for the help
