Some may remember me, I was around for a while, wasn't a post whore or anything or a Honda guru, but i was around... I'm sitting at working doing absolutely nothing so I thought I'd stop in a see what was up. I currently a pedestrian/passenger. My EX died a while back, just stopped cold when a red light turned gree, heard a small bang and it wouldn't move. I have looked at it, the linkage seems to be fine, the engine still runs strong, it jsut won't engage into gear... So it's been sitting and collecting lots and lots of dust. Then I got a 93 Camry LE for 400 bucks... found out why it costed so little (other than having connections). There is 0 (zero) compression in the first cylinder. So I have two dead cars and not enough money to work on either... So on that subject if anyone has and knows of any good deals in TX on cheap dependable cars or an engine for a 93 Camry LE 4cyl, [email protected]

Anyhow, hope all is well...

Theres a guy in dallas with an 88 dx hatch, he says it runs good, has a little body damage (he sent me pictures, passenger quarter panel has been hit, but its really not very bad). He wants 300 for it, I'll give you his email if you want.

if the engine runs strong but won't go into gear, sounds like a tranny/clutch problem.

Damn right Amy - us old schooler's are back!

And yeah Jay, I remember you. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Throw a new (used) tranny in that 4g of yours & you should be good. If you need a connection in TX let me know....
