AARGH! Fujimi Enthusiast Countach 1/24

Hi guys,
I've been looking around this forum for some time, but just became a member.

I've been modelling for around 15 years now, I've had some troubles with kits, but this one (the LP500S Walter Wolf)... Well, let's call it positively: it's quite a challenge...

Does anyone know how to get the body onto the chassis (without breaking other parts)?

(Still I wouldn't want another kit, as I bought it recently for 15 euros :D )

Oh MAN. What a build. Two parts :bricks1:, and three parts :swear:, as I recall.

It's been, like, 17 years since I did my Quattrovalvole, but I believe all the ducting and inner fender aprons at the rear that made it such a white-knuckle experience for me are just about what's giving you trouble right now. Without having the instruction sheet to refresh me, all I can do I assure you that it does somehow eventually get together.

It's very fiddly, but as long as you guide the assemblies together incrementally, bit by painstaking bit, it can be done.

This kit not only requires building skills, but it also needs a tremendous amount of practice. (LOL)

I have a semi-finished 5000QV myself, and well... as Chuck Kourouklis said, many parts came off during the first few attempts, and I had to glue them back on and try again.

After several painstaking practices, you'll get the knack of it. (seriously!) Basically, you slide the back frame of the chassis into the body, and open the body sideways to accept the rear wheel housing, then wiggle the chassis while slowly moving it backward until the the front of the chassis fit the body. Make sure check the exhaust pipes frequently so that they don't get caught by the body part.

So hopefully my countach will be ready before Monday...
