Adio System Question

Hi Guys and Gals

I own a 200 Ram 1500 Sport with the "Off Road" package. My truck has four doors but the rear doors are the 1/2 doors. My question concerns the speaker sizes in my front and rear doors. I want to order speakers for it but I dont want to have to tear the panels off once to check the size and once to install the speakers. This truck does NOT have the 7 speaker Infinity system in it. Crutchfield fit guide says 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 in front and rear but the fronts sure sound like 6x9's...anyone got an idea of what size they actually are?

Thanks

Crutchfield is usually pretty anal about having the right specs so they are probably right. You most won't be able to hear the difference. I know I put 6 1/2 in the rear of my '96 regular cab.

You have 6X9 right now but there are very few aftermarket 6x9's that will fit because of the depth. It depends if you are looking for bass from your doors of if you are going to have subs on what speakers to put in the doors.

you have 6x9s in front and 5 1/4 in rear i just did mine yesterday and there is a depth problem in front what i did was to take the plastic ring off the front of the speaker and put it on back makeing a spacer worked perfect doesnt hit the door panel either
