2000 4Runner idle is high

I recently had my 2000 4Runner serviced to correct the Check Engine light which was on. The code came back with P0171 which indicated the air flow meter was malfunctioning. The calculated load would not go above 58%. The meter was replaced and this has taken care of the check engine light, however, now I have a fast idle. Could this maintenance have caused the idle to now be too high?

I would take it back and tell them to correct idle speed as it is faster than before if at 1000+....sounds like a vacum leak

If your light comes back on, it could be the coolant temperature sensor is causing both problems.
