Under carrage noise

I get a lot of squeaking on my 97 Expo and someone told me that the "bad" ball joints are causing it. It squeaks when I step on the floor boards and when I'm driving around town. Any help out there !!!

I have a '97 as well and I had that problem back in '99. I took it back to the dealer and they applied some type of lubricant to it and also, they may have replaced the gaskets. It just started doing it again so I may have to bring it back to the dealer again. Good luck...let me know if that helps.
